Introduction
In the traditional market, it’s a stressful task for most of the customers to book a truck for transporting their bulky goods, furniture, and broken-down cars. It takes lots of time, effort, and energy from the customers to get a suitable truck.
We solve all these problems with our HiKargo® application. In which:
You can see the truck near your location anywhere.
Select the truck type you want.
Select the drop location.
Choose the add-on services like Helpers, installers packaging, etc.
That’s it … you can see a structured confirmed price before your booking confirmation.
Once you confirm the booking the Application will “automatically” search, find, and connect to the truck near the location.
So the entire process of booking has been shortened to just 1 minute.
Features of customer application
Register/login: email and/or social media login option, accounts, credit cards, payment processing.
Booking interface: a screen to enter the address to call a truck to, select a truck type (different type of truck will be available), and set a location for pickup.
Tracking: to track driver’s location, and to make updates during or after a ride.
Price calculator: to check the estimated cost of a ride from point A to point B, or the multiple location ride with certain truck types even before ordering.
Payments: cashless and in-app, paid automatically via credit card, users receive an invoice by phone and email, or just plain cash.
Push notifications: to keep users updated on order status, estimated time of truck arrival, and other details like truck model, license plate, etc.
Messaging, ratings & reviews, booking history.
Features of driver application
Register/profile/status: with verification (TAX & TC number) and approval by an administrator, plus online status, and schedule.
Booking: with options to accept or deny the incoming order, info on customer location and destination of a ride visible instantly, plus booking history.
Push notifications: for order alerts, truck booking data (location, payment, route, etc.), for order updates and/or completion.
Navigation: e.g., using Google Maps or Google Places to get optimal directions to a customer and his destination could be voiced.
Cost estimation, reports, messaging, support.
Additionally, to manage all the processes and drivers from a central point an admin panel is required. It is a web (desktop) application that facilitates interactions with customers and manages ride routes, payments, and all other data.
